Reporters | On-Screen Hosts
Send a CV, cover letter and link to any previous work—on camera or
off—explaining why you would be the perfect fit for Fashion One and Metropolis. We’re

Godzilla
was awakened by atom-bomb testing in the South Pacific—and so was the idea
behind that inspired him. Metropolis
looks at the stories behind the big guy’s big-screen domination, a story
that lumbers from the irradiated crew of a 1954 fishing boat all the way to
the present day.
When they’re not gigging as
electro/flute duo Flutronix, Nathalie Joachim and Allison Loggins-Hull
grace the stages of New York’s Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. Metropolis caught up
with them in advance of their July 29 Tokyo set, talking about mixing
classical music with Aphex Twin and Roni Size.
When
is it time to leave the island? And once you’ve left, are you sure you
won’t want to come back? One year out, a returned JET programme instructor
examines what led to her decision—and the regrets that still linger.

It’s a little slow getting
started, but once it gets up to speed, Hollywood’s second shot at Godzilla is plenty
